Dataset Description

This dataset aggregates geospatial checkpoints across Oregon, specifically curated for photographic potential. It combines legislative boundaries (Oregon Treasures Act) with ecological data to provide a comprehensive guide for visual exploration.

Sensitivity & Risk

All locations are screened for ecological sensitivity. We omit specific coordinates for vulnerable species or sacred indigenous sites to preventing overcrowding and degradation.

Maintenance & Access

Data is verified quarterly against US Forest Service and State Park alerts. Access is provided via open API for non-commercial use.

Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge the precedent stewardship of the indigenous people of Oregon and honor their enduring connection to this land.
